On the 18th, Catherine, Princess of Wales, is set to host the former model for a special joint appearance at Windsor Castle’s Frogmore Gardens to highlight the Scouts.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla will also host President Donald Trump and the First Lady at Windsor Castle, where they will be treated to the full grandeur of a state banquet on Wednesday evening.
According to CNN, the following day, Melania and Kate will meet with Chief Scout Dwayne Fields and members of the Scouts’ Squirrels program to learn about nature and work toward earning their “Go Wild” badge, Buckingham Palace confirmed. The Princess has served as joint president of the Scout Association since 2020.
The British prime minister said of the upcoming visit by the president and Melania, “This is really special. This has never happened before. This is unprecedented.”
“I think that just symbolizes the strength of the relationship between us. This is a very special letter. I think the last state visit was a tremendous success,” the prime minister said. “His Majesty the King wants to make this even better than that, so this is truly historic. An unprecedented second state visit.”
