Melania Trump Welcomes The White House Christmas Tree
According to reports and viral clips doing the rounds, the FLOTUS spent just two minutes and 50 seconds welcoming the arrival of the 18-and-a-half-foot white fir, before heading back inside the White House.
Wearing a chic outfit consisting of a belted white coat, plaid Manolo Blahnik heels, and some fierce dark red Max Mara opera gloves, the mom-of-one was seen circling the horse-drawn carriage carrying the Christmas tree and briefly posing for pictures.
She also briefly spoke about this year's Christmas décor, and said: "It will be beautiful. We've already planned and starting today."
And beautiful it does appear to be, as the 'Home is Where the Heart Is' theme reportedly highlights American values of generosity, patriotism, and gratitude.
According to reports, the décor includes over 10,000 blue butterflies, 25,000 feet of ribbons, 2,000 strands of lights, 2,800 gold stars, 700 feet of garland, 120 pounds of gingerbread, 51 Christmas trees, and 75 classic Christmas wreaths. Wow!
Regardless of how grand the decorations are, the internet is zeroing in on the fact that Melania's entire public appearance welcoming the Christmas tree was over in less than three minutes. They also, unsurprisingly, didn't hesitate to bring up her previous infamous and controversial comments about Christmas too...

"Isn't she the one who said [expletive] Christmas?" asked one X user, in reference to her now infamous comments. "Oh look! It's the '[expletive] Christmas' person," echoed a second, as a third concurred: "This is hysterical, we all know how she really feels about Christmas."
"Remember when she said, '[expletive] Christmas?' Good times," quipped a fourth, as a fifth chimed in: "Last time in the White House was [expletive] about having to decorate the White House. She's not classy. She's trashy like her husband."
The negative comments continued over on Instagram, where one critic said: "Cruella does Xmas." "Cruella the Grinch," slammed a second, as a third said: "Christmas with Cruella." "All that's missing is the Dalmatian coat," agreed a fourth, as a fifth predicted: "One thing we can be sure of is it will be tacky and low class."
