One name making the rounds in the rumor mill is none other than Karl Lagerfeld.
While it is unclear whether or not Lagerfeld will be designing her day or night look, or whether it will be under the Chanel, Fendi or his own namesake brand's label, it is a huge win for Trump after facing much backlash from big names in the fashion industry.
In a very surprising move, Ralph Lauren is also rumored to be dressing Trump for her big day. While Lauren never formally endorsed Clinton, he did design the pantsuits she wore for all the presidential debates.
However, Melania wore his designs on the campaign trail too, including to the third and final presidential debate as well as on election night. She purchased both items herself.
It will be interesting to see how and if these two pave the way for other designers to dress the incoming First Lady.
