This is was quite the drama at the time, but luckily, Strahan landed more hosting jobs at Good Morning America after this unexpected fallout.
It turns out that Ripa did have some involvement in the former football player’s exit. Though Strahan didn’t get into the specifics, he did imply that there was a strain in his relationship with the longtime daytime T.V. host.
“I haven’t spoken to her in a long time,” he continued.
So, did the two ever resolve their issues? Strahan doesn’t seem to think that’s a possibility.
“I learned through all that went down with that, you can’t convince people to like you,” he told TIME Magazine.
