We Did Not See This New Trend Coming But It’s Going To Be EVERYWHERE This Year

One of our favorite trends to come out of 2018 was monochromatic outfits. The single color moment made for the perfect statement ensemble that was equal parts polished and trendy. As we look forward at the rest of 2019, it’s safe to say the monochromatic trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon but it is taking a bit of a twist.

If 2018 was all about bright, vibrant colors — candy apple red, slime green, and crisp white — then 2019 is the year of beige. The neutral once thought to be boring color is perfect for toning down the monochromatic trend and making it more wearable for anyone who finds too much color a little daunting. Beige comes in a variety of shades, from lighter to darker hues, making it perfect for experimenting. After all, street style stars are rocking the new trend and boring is the absolute last word we would use to describe them.
