Prince Harry has already started planning the 2027 Invictus Games, and high on his list? The guest list. Sources close to the former royal just dished that two of Harry’s first invites went out to none other than his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William, who he’s been estranged from since 2020. Keep reading for more information.

Prince Harry Leaks Invictus Games Invitations To Prince William And King Charles

Prince Harry has been outspoken recently about his desire to end the feud with his family, saying in a BBC interview earlier this year, "[King Charles] won't speak to me because of this security stuff," in reference to his lawsuit over his personal security being removed. "But it would be nice to reconcile. Life is precious. I don't know how much longer my father has."

In another desperate move to force the senior royals to make up instead of break up, William has extended invites to the 2027 Invictus Games. "Harry has agreed that Invictus should extend an invitation to his family," a source told DailyMail. "Invictus hopes the royal family will come along to support the wounded veterans taking part."

Harry Is 'Hopeful'? Fans Say 'Manipulative'

The insider also added that Harry is "hopeful" his father will put aside their differences for the good cause. "The royals have always been hugely supportive of Invictus and proud of what Harry has achieved in that arena. This is one olive branch from him which might be reciprocated." No other invites have been extended yet, and while the reasoning for Harry's early invite to Charles and William is likely that Charles' schedule begins filling up three years in advance, some critics have other ideas.

"Any invite Prince Harry sends to his dad or brother for Invictus games is performative," one person wrote in a tweet. "They ALL already know, no Sr. Royals will lend their images to his projects."

"He's just so manipulative!" another fan commented. "This is such a low move."
