Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no strangers to facing criticism for their opinions and actions.

Although the Duke of Sussex does have his fair share of supporters, not many of them seemed to show up during one of his latest public appearances in the U.K., leaving him open to intense mockery on social media.

Prince Harry Visits The Community Recording Studio In Nottingham

Prince Harry flew to the U.K. earlier this month to attend the WellChild Awards in London, and also to visit his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's gravesite at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on the third anniversary of her death. And he also paid a visit to the Community Recording Studio in Nottingham.

Although the father-of-two and his team were expecting a large crowd and therefore filled the space with crowd-controlling barriers, the aforementioned barriers seemed a bit unnecessary, as not many people appeared to have turned up to see him. Awkward!

Prince Harry Is Mocked Online

While there was of course a small crowd people cheering on the Spare author as he entered and exited the building (pictured above) it was nowhere near the amount that his team anticipated – hence the mockery.

"No one is there," slammed one person on YouTube. "All the barriers for the invisible people," echoed a second, as a third asked: "So where were all of his adoring fans?" "The few of them were there," noted a fourth, adding: "You can hear that it's nothing like the following he used to get."

"30 people came to see Harry. Didn't expect such high numbers," quipped a fifth, as a sixth concurred: "Oh wow, three people showed up." "He looks so uncomfortable," thought a seventh, as an eighth pointed out: "Remember we are not good enough for him to stick around and support us. So why should we support him?"

A ninth thought there were "rent-a-crowd greeters" present. "Yes rent-a-crowd, it's been done before. Some organized squad and some of his own team too. Nothing like a real crowd he used to get. It's a handful here and there now," a tenth cleared up, which many others thought was a bit embarrassing.

"I'm second hand embarrassed for him. No-one cares that he is there and he has everything blocked off. Makes it really cringy. Doing this faux royal stuff is so weird," slammed an eleventh. "So embarrassing. He is still acting like a working royal," chimed in a twelfth, as a thirteenth agreed: "Can't watch this is too cringe. Embarrassing, how is he not embarrassed? He will be doing another baby momma dance next."
