Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not show son Prince Archie and daughter Princess Liibet‘s faces on social media because they want to protect their privacy – something the Spare author has reportedly insisted on! – but they are still being slammed for posting pictures of them in the first place!

Many people have called Prince Harry a hypocrite, among other things, for allowing his wife to share pictures of their children online, as it goes against everything he has said about wanting privacy in the past.

Prince Harry Talks About Wanting Privacy In Court

Prince Harry's appearance at the High Court in London last month, where he got visibly emotional talking about how media intrusion has negatively affected both him and his wife, has only made things worse for him!

Attending the Sundance Film Festival just a few days after returning from the U.K. was one thing he was called out for; and allowing for his kids to be posted on social media (albeit with their faces hidden) is another.

"For Harry to go from the hearing – and pleading for privacy – to then go to Sundance just days after is nuts," an insider previously told Page Six.

Royal expert and The Royalist writer Tom Sykes, who was at the court when Prince Harry testified, reportedly told NewsNation: "In his witness statement, and under questioning from his barrister David Sherborne, Harry described giving evidence as 'a repeat of the past, a recurring and traumatic experience.'"

"He told the court: 'I have never believed my life is open season to be commercialized by these people. My life has been commercialized in this way since I was a teenager.'"

Is Prince Harry A Hypocrite?

Sykes then went on to talk about some of the images the former Suits actress has shared of their children on her Instagram account over the past few years, including behind the scenes pictures from her Netflix With Love, Meghan show, pictures from Lilibet's fourth birthday at Disneyland, and more.

"These images, even when faces are partially obscured or showed in three-fourths profile, are part of the construction of a broader commercial brand and that Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, cannot meaningfully consent to such exposure," he went on.

Prince Harry may not post the images himself, but allowing for them to be posted on the As Ever founder's account is the same thing, according to critics. "It's a completely hypocritical statement as he and Meghan are commercializing Lili and Archie!" Sykes added.
