Things have gone from bad to worse for former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani as his 22-year-old communications director, Christianné Allen, resigned on Monday as the ongoing federal investigation and extensive legal troubles continue to swirl around the politician.

News broke that Allen would be leaving Giuliani’s council team earlier this week and will be replaced by Todd Shapiro, another republican who has formerly worked for the Lohan family, as well as represented the likes of Flava Flav and Hooters.

Allen spoke to the Daily Beast on August 30 to make a statement on her time working with Giuliani, as well as her plans for the future. “As I reflect, I am proud of the accomplishments we achieved. One of which was building Rudy Giuliani’s Common Sense podcast from conception to one of the top political podcasts in the country in under a year,” Allen said.

“Looking forward, I once again feel blessed to have the opportunity for continued growth and development within a rising tech startup,” she concluded.

The 22-year-old has been serving as communications director for Giuliani since 2019 when she was just a student at Liberty University online. Allen gained popularity in the MAGA community for being extremely vocal throughout Trump’s 2016 bid for the presidency.

Allen has shared that she is not yet at liberty to reveal the tech startup she will soon be working for, but she undeniably has experience in the realm of political scandal as she has worked with Giuliani throughout allegations of foreign influence on the 2016 election and a defamation lawsuit, among other issues.

The former NYC mayor has yet to speak on the departure of his young communications director as he is likely occupied worrying about the number of lawsuits levelled against him at the moment.

Meanwhile, Shapiro recently spoke out as he prepared to step into the role, revealing to CNN, “We are experts in crisis management. We have been doing this for over 25 years. The mayor is going to be fine.”
