If you’re still on cloud nine from Target’s latest Hearth & Hand With Magnolia Spring 2018 Collection drop, then you’re going to want to sit down for this exciting news. The brand is launching yet ANOTHER home line, Opalhouse! Comprised of 1,300 pieces for the home including bedding, bath, décor, tabletop and furniture, this colorful collection is going to be your next obsession. And the best part is, most of the items are priced under $30!
Opalhouse is set to make its big debut on April 8 in stores and online at Target.com. The brand was created with Target's customers in mind, most of which prefer to mix and match their style and often gravitate towards bold and exciting pieces.
"Why an eclectic brand? About 90 percent of our guests like to mix and match styles to create a personalized look within their homes, so in 2017 we set out to introduce a number of new brands with clear and distinct points of view that have the flexibility to work together," the Bullseye said in a press release announcing the new brand.
Target's design team drew inspiration for the Opalhouse collection from their travels, using the different cultures of the world to help them find the collection's vibrant tone and unique patterns. "Target’s design team travels the world, gathering inspiration at every stop–whether it’s wandering the streets of Paris, visiting local markets in Mallorca or spending time with locals in Lisbon. Then, they put pen (or paintbrush!) to paper, sketching and painting new prints and designs that will later come to life as prints on pieces from the collection," according to Target.
As loyal Target shoppers know, the brand has been revamping its home section by introducing new brands like Hearth & Hand With Magnola, Threshold, and Project 62 that each have their own vibe and aesthetic. With Opalhouse joining the Target family, there will be no shortage of stylish options to choose from!
"The introduction of Project 62 and Hearth & Hand with Magnolia accelerated a lot of positive momentum within our Home business. Not only are our guests responding to the individual brands, but the new brands are driving traffic and sales across the entire store,” said Mark Tritton, chief merchandising officer, Target. “And now, we’re introducing Opalhouse, a new Home owned brand centered around the eclectic aesthetic. The launch of Opalhouse helps round out our Home assortment, making Target a destination for differentiated brands that guests can find only at Target, all at an incredible value.”
We can't wait for the full Opalhouse look book to be released. In the meantime, we'll just have to browse through the new products from Hearth & Hand With Magnolia to hold us over!
