We all pretty much know what’s good for us. We know that we should have a balanced diet that includes carbohydrates, proteins and good fats. We definitely need to include a lot of vegetables in our diet that take up a majority of our dinner plate leaving enough space for a lean meat or fish. It’s always great to know what’s good for us, but sometimes I wonder if that’s good, then what is bad?
According to registered dietician, Keri Glassman, eating a hot dog or any type of processed meat for dinner can be one of the worst possible things that you do. Not only is the processed meats high in sodium, but also it’s extremely high in saturated fats (the fat that makes your stomach bigger). Yuck!
The more you stay away from processed meats like sausages, the more you will reduce your chances of cancer and heart disease and your body will thank you for it.
