August 22, 2017 by Leah Carton

Nordstrom is a staple store that you must hit when you visit the mall. The deals are unbeatable and the styles are always on point. Turns out, there are a few extra tips you should remember while tending to that mental checklist of what to splurge on. Never Skip Out On The Stylists

Shopping can be difficult, especially when you need help finding certain sizes and putting pieces together. Become aware of the stylists that are available for free at Nordstrom the next time you visit. According to former employee Nicole Yi, you shouldn't assume that taking advantage of Nordstrom stylists comes at a fee. I mean, who wouldn't want to have a personal stylist?

Never Be Afraid To Return An Item

While many other stores have a strict return policy, Nordstrom has an exception to the rule. Nordstrom actually doesn't have a timed return policy at all. So, don't keep that shirt you bought that's a little too snug because you think you missed the return deadline; you can return it any time you want!

Never Wait To Shop The Anniversary Sale

Some of Nordstrom's best deals come around during the anniversary sale-- which you probably already knew being the fashionista that you are. Yi added that it's super important for you not to wait to shop during the sale. You may avoid the crowds, but you'll miss all the best deals! She reminds shoppers that stores get limited quantities of sale items.

Never Avoid The Salespeople

Nordstrom differs from most mall stores since its employees receive commission. Because of that, they genuinely care about their customers and want to help them find what they're looking for. Many employees will even bend over backward for you, like stylist Lynn Mahlum, who says she has met a customer at the store's doors to help them make a quick purchase when they needed something A.S.A.P. while traveling. "It makes you feel good to be able to help people like that." She recalled of the wacky experience.
