The One Food You Should STOP Buying At Trader Joe’s Right Now, According To Health Experts

Trader Joe’s just announced a major product recall!

One December 16th, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall of Trader Joe’s Lightly Salted Edamame due to potential listeria contamination. Say it ain’t so!

The recall of this popular product means that if you recently purchased the item from TJ's--you'll need to throw it out immediately. The FDA also ordered the grocery store to pull the product from shelves, which means no one should be buying it.

According to the notice, the problem stems from Las Vegas-based food company Tesoros Trading Co. The Lightly Salted Edamame may contain a listeria contamination, which can lead to fatal infections "in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems."

The recall only affects people in four regions: Arizona, Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Utah.

Listeria infections can also cause ssues in healthy people, such as "high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea."
