According to dermatologist Dana Stern, M.D., nails can become brittle due to over-exposure of water and chemicals from harsh nail products. To fight off brittleness, Stern recommends using cuticle creams and oils to replenish and hydrate your skin.

"...regular moisturizing is a must for women with visible signs of hair damage,” said dermatologist Zoe Draelos,MD. She recommendds looking for moisturizing treatments to avoid frizzy, brittle hair. Using conditioner and hair serums to hydrate your locks is a great way to start!

Dermatologist Neal Schultz, M.D, advises getting chemical peels to clear up stubborn acne! “Every one of my patients gets a glycolic peel and a glycolic product to use during their visit,” says Schultz. Glycolic peels work to tear down the "glue" that holds bacteria and dead skin cells in your pores, so it's a great choice for clearing skin.
