Urban Outfitters has joined Rent The Runway, Le Tote, Haverdash and others in providing a clothing rental service to customers.
The retailer just announced that it will get on board with this fast-growing sustainable fashion trend–and we couldn’t be more excited about it!
WWD reports that the company is launching Nuuly later this summer.
The company, which will function entirely separate from UO, will offer 6 clothing items for rent per month at a cost of $88. After a month, members can purchase the items or return them, and then choose six more.
And though the package is slightly more expensive and includes fewer items per month than the just-launched Haverdash, we’re expecting an impressive selection of clothing to make up for it.
The release confirms that premiere brands like Nike will be available, and since the fashion company also owns Anthropologie and Free People, we will expect that both labels will have product available as well.
Let the countdown begin!
By the way–did we mention that they’re having an extra 30% off sale-on-sale right now? Shop our editors’ picks:
