He further recommends a diet full of foods or supplements that contain omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin D to help you in the weight loss process. Apart from taking a supplement, you can find omega-3 fatty acids in lean fish such as salmon. 

Mehmet Oz, MD, says that it can be extra difficult to lose unwanted belly fat because of your hormones. He notes that while it's difficult to lose, it's so important to find a healthy way to get rid of visceral belly fat. Mehmet says that this kind of fat surrounds your organs and can lead to diseases such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
