What Is An ‘Australian Cut’? Find Out Why This Is The Most Flattering Bikini Bottom

Swim Trends You've probably heard of Brazilian cut bikinis (those skimpy almost-thong styles that are popular in places like Miami and, duh, Brazil), but what is an 'Australian cut'? According to Popsugar, this is a new style every woman should know about because it's flattering for almost every body type. Why? Because it has less fabric than most bikini bottoms, and "too much fabric draws (unwanted) attention to your booty."

Australian Cut Swimsuit Australian brand Bondi Bather coined the phrase. The brand's founder Kerry Morrison explains, "Since Brazil has a 'cut,' we needed our own. It's an in-between; the shape is a brief, but so much more flattering than a regular, full-coverage bottom."
