Colorado Company Makes Weed-Based Skincare Line

Coincidental that pot was just legalized in Colorado and Washington state, and now folks on the west coast are lathering up in Cannabis Seed-based body lotions? We think not! Apothecanna, a new Colorado-based skincare brand has jumped on the pot wagon and incorporated the seed’s oil in to all of their “naturally prescribed” products, which apparently works wonders for skin. Products containing Hemp have long been on the market, thanks to brands like the Body Shop, and Cannabis Seed is basically the same thing but marketed towards a new crop of weed-smokers in the state (and across the country, really). Known for its anti-aging properties, for balancing dry skin, fighting inflammations, and containing anti-oxidants, Cannabis may be the beauty industry’s next “big” ingredient. Who knew that weed could be good for more than just watching the Wizard of Oz to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon?

The Apothecanna line includes Calming Cream ($32), Lip Buzz ($10) and Body Budder ($27), just to name a few. Go ahead – get your “blaze” on with this new beauty line; they ship to any state and are totally legal. Which means you can’t get in trouble for ’em – ahem, Biebs.
