We can already shop most of our favorite fashion and beauty brands on Amazon, but according to the Wall Street Journal, the online one-stop-shop for everything is adding 10 well-known retailers to its line up as early as this summer. The brands that will allegedly make their debut include J.Crew, Ralph Lauren, Lord & Taylor, Abercrombie & Fitch and Neiman Marcus.
Amazon won’t sell the goods directly, but instead have listings that would link to the retailer’s own site. Now you’re probably wondering what’s the point then? Well, for the retailers, this is a great way to reach more potential online shoppers, but obvi Amazon has the better part of this deal. The site’s customer data knowledge will expand even more by adding these brands, and Prime members will get free shipping perks. Look out for J.Crew jeans, Ralph Lauren polos and more to hit Amazon this summer.
