For its first collaborative endeavor, London Fog is doing it big: the 80-year old brand just announced that it will soon release capsule collections designed by Cynthia Rowley, Chris Benz, and Badgley Mischka. No photos of the actual collections are available yet, but judging by the designers’ sketches (above), this is one collaboration that’s worthy of your attention. The line will range in price from $50-$275 and will include umbrellas, rain boots, trenches, and even luggage for women, men, and children.

According to WWD, Chris Benz was able to work on this project because of his decision to not participate in fashion week :

While everyone else is busy with the shows, we’re getting started on spring 2014. It’s been really great to be able to reflect a little bit creatively and to think about where your business is going. There is something to be said for having an ‘Eat Pray Love’ kind of moment. We’ve been asking ourselves, ‘What do we really love about the brand? Where is the company going?’ We’re super-excited to get back to work and to go to Paris.

Well, Chris, I guess we’re OK with you skipping out on NYFW if it means we get cute rain boots! The London Fog designer collaborations will launch this August. More news as it develops.
