And now even websites are getting in on the designer collaboration game. The DailyCandy editors have teamed up with five different designers to co-design an exclusive, limited edition collection of pieces to be sold at The Standard Shops. The first set of products – which just launched – includes: a Holst + Lee mix media bracelet ($145, pictured above), a leather clutch with ready-to-wear designer Heidi Merrick, earrings with Melissa Joy Manning, a beauty set with GlossyBox and a print with artist Carrie Marill.
Alison Moore, executive vice president and general manager of DailyCandy says that with the collaboration, the company is looking to explore the world of e-commerce. They plan to roll out the collaborations quarterly – or even more frequently – going forward.
The first set of DailyCandy Collaborations ranges from $59 to $250 and is available for purchase on ShopTheStandard.com through February 28.
