Even though it’s spring, it is never too late (or too early) to shop for sweaters. You can still throw them on with skirts and shorts, or stock up on them for fall, since they are all on sale right now. Topshop’s Knitted Hexagon Quilted Jumper ($35, down from $72) is just the right weight to wear year-round, but with an original price of $72 for a basic sweater, I knew there had to be a cheaper copy-cat out there.
While I was browsing the Target Junior’s section, I found exactly what I was looking for: the perfect Topshop knockoff. And since I love the British store, but don’t enjoy paying their inflated prices, I knew I had to grab the impostor before everyone else found out about it. The Xhilaration Junior’s Textured Sweater ($16.08, down from $22.99) is actually so similar to the original that I have been asked, “Is that from Topshop?” on numerous occasions. If other fashionistas can’t tell the difference, you probably can’t either. Can you tell which sweater is Topshop and which is the knockoff?
Answer: The sweater on the left is the Target version, and the “jumper” on the right is from Topshop. But with the same exact quilted pattern, you would never know the difference. So if you like knockoffs like me, head over to Target and get one before its too late, but if you’d prefer the original, go for it! You don’t have to feel guilty since it is over 50% off.
