When one of our favorite it-girl brands, SUNO, launched their first sneaker line in 2011, we were thrilled. We’ll rock sneakers any day if they’re cool, comfortable, printed ones. This fall, they’ve announced their second line–due next summer – and who more appropriate to make the announcement than the coolest of it-girls?
Tastemakers like Meredith Melling Burke (Vogue), Susie Bubble (Style Bubble), Hannah Bronfman, Elettra Weidemann and Natalie Joos styled and modeled the kicks in their everyday lives (locations range from New York, to Montauk, to London and Marrakesh) for their Fall 2012 campaign–the fun shots are displayed on SUNO’s re-launched website.
With patterns like “People Print,” and “Harvest Paper,” the sneakers exude casual chic–and like the brand’s last sneaker collection, they’re for a good cause. All shoes are made in Kenya with recycled rubber and SUNO fabrics, and 15% of your purchase will be donated by SUNO to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a Kenyan preservation devoted to the protection of endangered elephants and rhinos.
