Eco-Fashion Find: Ride ‘em Cowboy with Nau
July 18, 2007
Why: I recently went to visit my boyfriend’s hometown in Colorado for the first time. This area outside of Denver claims to host the largest 4th of July rodeo in the west, with thousands of cowboy boot-clad, big belt buckle wearing guys to prove it.
I felt a little out of place in my jeans and T-shirt getup and vowed that the next time I visit, I’m bringing Nau’s Giddy Up Short Sleeve Shirt with me. Made of organic cotton, this shirt is part of Nau’s large eco-friendly line.
This Portland, Oregon based company brings earth-friendly principles to every design. Their objective is to seek the balance of beauty, performance and sustainability. This drives everything they do — including the development of environmentally-friendly fabrics.
Now, if only they would produce a cowboy-happy belt buckle I can pair with it…
