Editors' Note: In Defense Of Our @CondeElevator Post

August 12, 2011 by SheFinds

Earlier this week we published a post which theorized the identity of @CondeElevator, a hot topic on the fashion blogs. Our post was based on sourced information, and we even used a disclaimer to protect the suspected Twitterer.

Today, Racked has made claims that we “made up” the whole thing. Although one lone blogger can’t compromise our editorial integrity, we do feel the need to clarify that we would never publish an unsourced claim or flat out lie. Like many sites (ahem, Racked), we cover industry buzz. Sometimes this means surmising the identity of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress designer, or in other cases, that of an anonymous Tweeter. To our discerning readers, rest assured that we are not gossipmongers, just gals who love a good story.

Happy Shopping,

The SHEfinds Crew

p.s. Have you seen the new Banana Republic Mad Men line???
