Emmys 2011 Trend Roundup: Patterned Sequin Dresses

The Red Carpet at last night’s Emmy Awards was crawling with two bold trends—red dresses and sequin gowns. While Amy Poehler and Evan Rachel Wood opted for a monochrome sequin look, the above stars mixed it up with sequins in various patterns and hues. Gwyneth Paltrow turned heads in her belly-baring Pucci number, while Anna Faris and Claire Danes played it safe in simple, strapless patterned gowns. Julie Bowen and Christina Hendricks both opted for daring deep v-necks, which flattered both of their disparate frames.
Patterned sequins are sure to be the hottest look for fall, and we especially love them because they can still be worn all the way through winter, too (New Years Eve dress, anyone?). We’ve rounded up some of our favorite pieces below:
