Envirosax Bags: Green on the Go
January 24, 2008
What: Envirosax, $10
Why: Ok, so the name may sound like a sleep medication, but Envirosax offers a stylish and green means of carting your groceries and purchases to and from your abode. Priced at a reasonable $10 and available in multiple patterns and colors, the lightweight polyester bags still manage to be waterproof and hold up to two plastic bags worth of groceries. Additionally, founders Belinda and Mark David-Tooze ensure fair labor practices and wages in their Chinese factories. So unless you're saving those plastic grocery bags to pick up dog droppings, you can save the environment, carry your organic produce, and be fashionable all in one fell swoop! Personally, I ordered a bag not for groceries, but to disguise and carry the beat up UGG boots I wear to walk to the train (and change out of at the office).
