When Isabel Marant‘s wedge sneakers first hit stores in 2012, they instantly became THE cool girl shoe. The heightened kicks were unlike any other shoe. So it’s no surprise that Marant’s version quickly sold out and spawned so.many.knock-offs. Fast-forward two years later, and even Marant can’t wear her own wedge sneakers anymore. According to WWD, she’s seen “too many bad copies in the street,” which made her officially shelve her own pair. But don’t worry, Marant has designs in the works for what is sure to become the next “it” shoe: furry moccasins you can wear sans socks–even in the winter. And while you wait for the fur version, get a pair of the Morely Studded Suede Moccasin Boots ($1,330).
