That’s all folks! Last night, the girls from Teen Mom sat down with Dr. Drew for one last check-in and goodbye. Here, Farrah Abraham offers her final thoughts on how she’s grown, her relationship with her mom and how she wants to be remembered.
Why do you think you haven’t forgiven your parents for how they treated you and Derek when you were pregnant?
I have forgiven them, but I feel that they make bad relationship choices, as well. I don’t understand why they have double standards and act in the opposite way of how they tell me to behave in relationships. That, to me, is upsetting.
Do you ever regret revealing too much either on the show or in your book?
I have nothing to hide, so I’m happy that I can share my experiences so others can make better choices.
Do you think anything was resolved between you and your mom during the reunion?
I think my mom is stuck in her ways, but I do feel that we have made progress in our relationship since 16 & Pregnant.
What’s changed since your filmed the reunion? Still living on your own in Florida? Still going to school?
A lot has changed since filming. I have moved from Florida, I’m done with school and Sophia and I are getting ready to open our first restaurant.
Now that the show is over, what’s the one thing you want people to remember you for?
I want others to remember me for my hard efforts of beating the statistics for pregnant teens. I’ve turned a negative situation into a positive and I’ve become a successful parent who is honest and proud.
