Facebook Is Getting A 'Buy' Button, So You Can Shop While Updating Your Status

Have you been on your Facebook lately? Well if you’re like me and you’re part of the “Facebook generation” (aka. milennials), you probably noticed something different about your newsfeed recently. Last week, Facebook and a few smaller businesses started to test a “buy” button. Yes, Facebook is desperately clinging on for dear life, and they think that e-commerce will solve their problems.

With this new button, users (or should I say ‘Friends’) will be able to purchase products they see in ads without ever leaving Facebook’s site. For an avid online shopper and guilty Facebook stalker like me, this seems like a great idea. We’ll no longer have to deal with the frustrations of being redirected to another site, which will make shopping soooo much easier. Sorry, wallet.

Do you think  the buy now button is a good idea or is it just another way for Zuckerberg to take over the world, we mean…make money? Let us know in the comments below.

If you haven’t seen our Facebook page yet, you’re missing out. Like us now.

And don’t forget to check out: this shocking bracelet, Target’s Black Friday In July Sale, and Jessica Alba’s Kimono.
