Remember back in 2007, one of the first collaborations was with Erin Fetherston for Target? Part of her sweet and feminine collection was a chunky creme-colored coat, which I ended up buying. The coat is long gone from my wardrobe, but Piperlime’s selling a very similiar version by Eryn Brinie. Take a look:

At left, here is Eryn Brinie’s ruffle collar coat ($196), and at left, the Erin Fetherston for Target version. Pretty much identical, from the shape, color, and all the way down to the covered buttons. We just don’t understand why Eryn Brinie would copy this design 3 years later–did they think no one would notice, now that Erin Fetherston’s busy making Juicy Couture cooler?
