Fashion Find: Disrobe
January 26, 2007
What do you wear to lounge around home? I’m lucky if I can find an old t-shirt of my beau’s, or some threadbare old plaid flannel PJs. This attire can be especially painful when we have friends visiting, and since returning from a trip to Paris this summer, I am motivated to become a real lady in and out of the house. A proper house dress is just what I need, and I plan on getting Disrobed, as soon as possible.
Disrobe, you see, is a line of beautiful robes made in Vancouver, BC. Cut like a wrap dress, they’re like the Diane Von Furstenberg of the boudoir. Curves at the waist and hips, and ties on the inside and outside mean that you’ll be able to retain your femininity AND privacy.
Their tatu robe, inspired by a classic smoking jacket, is something I could see on the Desperate Housewive’s Bree Van De Kamp. The Shantung silk shell and a warm and cozy flannel lining, with a beautiful side bow is just about as perfect as she could get.
