Fashion Find: Easy Extensions
November 12, 2006
If you’re a fan of Jessica Simpson’s movies, or music, you can see her on the big screen or pick up her new CD. If you’re not partial to her “art”, but love her Barbie hairstyles, check out her new line of clip-in HairDo extensions. Jess developed the line with her gay boyfriend and hair stylist, Ken Paves, and it’s been getting the attention of mags like People.
I had never ever even dreamed of wearing extensions before I tried the 23-inch clip-in curls — which promised to make me look like I belonged on the red carpet — but after two tries, I was converted. The synthetic extensions look like half a wig and clip onto the back of your head. They come in a variety of colors and lengths, as well as straight or wavy, so there’s no problem in matching your natural strands. And they really were easy to use though they didn’t catch me a Nick. Maybe next time…
Price: $85 to $95, depending on length ($500 for the real human hair extensions)
