What: Black Ahimsa Text Hoodie
Why: I have two sets of clothing. My attractive, uncomfortable, thong- necessitating clothes, and the slovenly attire I change into within seconds of walking through my door. This less than put together look doubles as my gym and errand-running gear. And, as I spend the majority of my time working from home, on my couch, this look unfortunately makes its way into my daily wardrobe more often than I’d like to admit. My boyfriend would never say outright that I’m a freakin’ slob, but the way his eyes light up when I put something on with even a hint of structure, shows that I’ve taken this whole comfort thing a little too far.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no rule stating that a sweatshirt has to be XXXL and stained for it to qualify as comfy “hang out†clothes. You don’t have to choose between looking like a total bum/college freshman or squeezing yourself into tight, uncomfortable clothes. This cozy, but feminine, cotton sweatshirt features the Sanskrit word Ahimsa along with its meaning “non-violence†on the front in bright red. For me, this sweatshirt represents an end to the conflict between comfort and cute.
