This week we release our annual guide to hippifying your guy, but we see no reason the men should have all the fun. We'll also be looking at products that go both ways, and we think menswear-inspired dresses give us the perfect place to start. Check out these styles that come straight from your man's closet…

1. Ever wonder why it is that men look so darn good in tuxedos? It's unexplainable, but they do. Now you can channel the cosmic attractiveness of the tuxedo with Crispin & Basilio's wool tunic ($320) or Myth & Ritual's frock ($274). Wear it as a mini or with skinny jeans or leggings and know that life's mysteries have never looked so good.

2. Walter's washed silk shirt dress ($275) is a wonderful, versatile layering piece. For dressier affairs I'd try it under a leather crop jacket or retro faux fur swing coat. To go casual, try a grandpa cardigan or tweed blazer.

3. A Pintuck Shirt Dress by Vivienne Tam ($365) looks nothing if not feminine thanks to delicate pleating details and lady-like buttons.
