Joining the ranks of Karl Lagerfeld and Madonna, Finnish textile and clothing design company Marimekko will collaborate with H&M on a collection of 50 styles for Summer 2008. Starting in April, you can snag shorts, skirts, tunics, and dresses made from the designers’ most popular prints from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.

Currently sold in boutiques around the world, Marimekko designs have already broken into the mainstream. (Maybe your couch is accessorized with a Marimekko-printed pillow from Crate & Barrel?) But H&M is promising their bold and inspired new line will be “joyfully fresh like a vitamin injection”. Ready for your dose of Vitamin H(&M)? Mark your calendars – the countdown begins.
