Find of the Day: Jumpin Banana Electronic Drum Stixx for Peace, Quiet...and Rock & Roll

My son wants to be a rock star when he grows up.  (And he’s certainly halfway there since he hasn’t had a haircut since February!)  But I live in an apartment and there is no way that he is getting a drum set anytime soon.  No worries, though.  He is perfectly satisfied to keep the beat with these Jumpin Banana Electronic Drum Stixx.

The drum sticks are perfect to express musical genius within the confines of a home.  They have a tip that lights up and makes sound when applied to any hard surface.  And since you can choose between drum, snare or cymbal sounds, your child (or perhaps even you) can play along to the radio or make music of your own creation.  That’s not to say that one day my boy won’t own his own drum kit.  I’m thinking about it.  In the meantime, we are both happy with a little table-banging…and a maybe even some head-banging, too.
