Ivanka Trump was not only blessed with a charmed life, but some enviable legs (see below if you don’t believe us). We have word from Marc Fisher footwear that Ivanka’s upcoming line of shoes we’re excited about won’t hit stores ’til Spring 2011, which seems like eons. Ivanka, if you’re reading, here’s what we hope you’ll include in your shoe collection, when you get around to designing it.
1. Salmon pink. A nod to the salmon-colored newspaper Ivanka’s new husband, Jared Kushner owns (The New York Observer) but also a good signature color for her–girly without being overkill–just like Ivanka herself. We think these Jessica Simpson Vanity pumps ($59.50) will fit into the boardroom just fine with a khaki pencil skirt for spring.
We’d like to see some diamonds–after all, she’s got her own line of jewelry–there should be some sparkle. She grew up in the lap of luxury–we think her shoe line should display some opulence, too, like these Badgley Mischka Elia ($204) pumps that work for nighttime with a short black dress.
3. Gold Fringe.
Not only did she grow up in a gold-lined apartment (and probably could afford to eat gold for breakfast), but she’s said in various interviews her favorite decade is the ’20s. We’d be surprised if she didn’t give a nod to the era with a pair like these Pella Moda Carlin gold fringe sandals ($138.95).
Have you seen her wedding dress? This girl loves lace, and according to the shoes she designed for Stuart Weitzman, plus paparazzi photos, she seems to favor pointy shoes. These Spiegel lace pumps ($39.99) seem like a good fit.
We imagine there’s a lot of champagne in Ivanka Trump’s life–hell, she was practically raised on it, right? With all the events and cocktail parties, plus all of her successes, we’d be shocked if she didn’t include something like these RSVP Michaela bow sandals.
