Forget Banning Baby Names--There Should Be Laws Against Baby Shower Cakes As Disturbing As These...

A few weeks back there was some controversy over a list of banned baby names in New Zealand. Whether or not the bans are legitimate or fair is really no concern of mine right now. What’s more pressing, if you ask me, is when we can expect hideous baby shower cakes like these to be outlawed.

Oh yes, apparently these baby shower cakes are real. I have no idea what type of baby shower they were served at or who in their right mind would eat a slice, but can we all agree these are just not okay? Funny baby shower cakes are fine, but these are not funny. They are disturbing.

So if you’ve been tasked with planning a friend’s upcoming baby shower and you’re feeling in touch with your inner comedienne, don’t make the same mistake the owner’s of the cakes above did. Instead, put your wit to good use on tasteful–and tasty!–personalized mini cheesecakes. Not only will make mom-to-be happy, but you won’t have to worry about your horrible taste being immortalized on the internet.
