Forget Black Friday...Get Ready for Black Midnight

Black Friday Midnight

Have you heard?  You don’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn the day after Thanksgiving to get those Black Friday deals.  You just have to stay up until midnight.  That’s right.  Several retailers including Target, Macy’s, Kohl’s and Best Buy have announced that they’ll be open for business at midnight, hence the start of Black Midnight.

Sound good?  I guess staying up a few extra hours is better than waking up in the wee hours of the morning, but can you imagine standing in line (in the cold) after stuffing your face with a big turkey meal?  Doesn’t sound like fun to me! Besides, you can score the same Black Friday deals online…from the comfort of your home…in your pjs.  Sounds like a better plan, right?

What do you think? Are you excited about Black Friday 2011 starting earlier this year? Will you be lining up early or shopping from home? Sound off in the comments below.
