Forget Rainbow Highlighters, This 'Ambient' Primer Is Where It's At

While the internet is freaking out over this rainbow highlighter, I’ve been trying to find a highlighter that doesn’t make me look like Rainbow Brite.  I needed a product that will smooth and brighten my skin in a single step. Enter: the Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer ($44). This highlighting primer is an all-in-one product that preps and perfects the skin. It’s infused with light correcting pigments that blur imperfections and make your skin look flawless.

I was already obsessed with the highlighting powders from Hourglass (the Ambient Lighting Palette is one of my most-loved beauty products). That’s why I jumped at the chance to try the new primer by the brand. It comes in 3 different shades: Luminous Light, Mood Light, and Dim Light. I choose Mood Light because it matched my skin tone. After applying, my skin looked so smooth and glowy that I didn’t even bother to put on foundation. For night time, applied Dim Light under my favorite foundation and my skin looked radiant. I highly recommend this product for those who are trying to achieve a “summer glow” without baking in the sun.

The Ambient Light Correcting Primers ($44) are available now at Sephora and Nordstrom.
