. ..honey, I was made for the red carpet.
While we’re on the subject of crimson – the party was in honor of Gap’s new venture with Bono – Gap (PRODUCT) RED. Set to launch in October, half of the profits from Gap (PRODUCT) RED sales go to the Global Fund to help women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Bono gave a short sermon beamed in via satellite ala Captain Kirk, an African choir sang and then it was on to scoping out the shoes. Celebrity photos plastered the walls from the Gap “Individuals” Campaign. I was hoping for a glimpse of Maddox and fam, but no dice.

Flat boots. You need a pair. I’m sorry, they do make your legs look short and you look like Danny Devito, but you’re totally uncool if you don’t have a pair in your footwear repertoire. The good news – you can wear them over your pants so no worries about wet hems this winter. Of course now you have to buy skinny jeans…. Prepare for the ice cube soup diet.
We like these flat boots from Sigerson and you get Free Shipping BOTH ways on shoes at Zappos.com
