Crowdsource Your Outfits With Go Try It On's New Updated Mobile App
September 4, 2012
Ever wish you had your most stylish friend on hand to consult with before you leave the house every morning? Us, too. Go Try It On, the app that lets your upload a photo of your outfit along with a bit of context like which labels you’re wearing and where you’re going to a sartorially savvy community, is getting closer and closer to bringing you just that. The app’s been around for some time now, but the new version adds a bit of user-friendly ingenuity like Instagram-esque filters and frames, a one-of-a-kind timer to snap a perfect pose, and an option to create collages of your favorite style photos.
In addition, Go Try It On is adding content to the new version, giving users the ability to browse and discover on-trend pieces through the Style tab, which they can then add to their Shopping List. And like any addictive app, they’re partnering with brands like Barneys, Sephora and Rebecca Minkoff, as well as bloggers like The Blonde Salad and StyleLikeU, giving them the opportunity to post original or existing content from their respective blogs.
Brace your bank account: the new app can identify products said bloggers are wearing (it’s magic!) and users can instantly shop their look. If you’re an iPhone user (sorry, Droids!) and you like what you’re hearing, download the app for free at this link and start hearting what you love.
