Update: Creepy guy Vitalii Sediuk is now saying he assaulted Gigi Hadid as “commentary” on the supermodel debate of 2016. OK, because that gives you the right to violate a woman’s personal space?
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Sediuk says, “While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing to do with high fashion. By doing this, I encourage the fashion industry to put true talents on the runway and Vogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram.” Does this guy even have any notable accomplishments in the fashion world (or at all, actually)?
He continues, “You can call it a manifest or a protest. This is also a wake-up call for Anna Wintour, who turned Vogue into a tabloid by putting Kardashians and other similar celebrities on a cover of a well-respected magazine.” YEAH, I’m SURE Anna Wintour will listen to a guy who ambushes woman.
“Asked how he responds to allegations that his latest “stunt” amounts to nothing more than an assault on a woman, Sediuk responds, ‘Don’t be over-dramatic.'” WOW, THIS GUY. Get him out of here, please.

Gigi Hadid walked into a crazy scene of paparazzi and fans after exiting the Max Mara Milan Fashion Week show. The supermodel graciously stopped to pose for a few selfies on her way to a chauffeured car when she was suddenly grabbed from behind and lifted up off the ground by a creepy stranger. As any woman would, Hadid defended herself against this rando screaming, “Let go of me! Who the f*ck are you? You piece of shit!” Bella Hadid was right there trying to make this man let go of her sister.
Apparently, the man was identified as Vitalii Sediuk, who is “famous” for assaulting celebrities on the red carpet. Truly disturbing and not funny at all. Shouldn’t this man be in jail?
But the story gets even worse. The Sun published photos of Hadid’s totally appropriate reaction to being manhandled with the headline, “Not Model Behaviour Gigi Hadid aggressively lashes out and ELBOWS fan in the face after her tries to pick her up.” Huffington Post UK entertainment reporter Rachel McGrath tweeted it and offered a far more accurate headline.

Hadid retweeted and thanked McGrath, while also addressing the incident herself.
THANK YOU Rachel.

Funny, The Sun has since changed their headline. Smh.
