July 8, 2010 by Mom Jeanine

If all the warnings about BPA and other potentially toxic chemicals has turned you off to plastic baby bottles, go retro and use glass baby bottles instead. You don’t have to worry about breaking them thanks to Siliskins and you don’t have to pay tons more than you would for plastic baby bottles. Check out these great glass baby bottles that won’t set you back more than $10 a bottle.

BornFree is known for being the first brand to introduce BPA-free baby bottles, but they also offer glass baby bottles ($10 each) that perform just as well as the beloved plastic baby bottles.

If you want to encourage baby to start holding his/her bottle as early as possible, try Munchkin’s Mighty Grip glass baby bottles ($7), which have grooves on each side.

If you’re seriously worried about breakage, this is the glass baby bottle ($10) for you. It was dropped from 6 feet in the air onto concrete and remained completely intact.

Check out more of the best baby bottles in our buying guides.
