The bad news:

Courtney Love made a video on YouTube about how to put on makeup. Yikes. See our beauty guides for the best mascara, lip balm, and more.  [Huffington Post]

For those who go shopping for groceries in their pajamas, today is a sad day: Tesco supermarkets in the UK have banned “nightwear,” which is now on the same no-no list as bare feet. Never fear, we’ve got some pants that are just as comfortable–and acceptable. If you’re in the market for sleepwear, see the pajamas Rita Wilson swears by from her appearance on Oprah. [Stylelist]

Now, for the good news:

Celebs are all about giving back lately: a slew of A-listers showed up for Saks’ Annual Unforgettable Evening — the Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund benefit, and raised a ton of money. We’re fans of Taylor Swift’s cute red asymmetrical Valentino dress. Browse more adorable dresses for every shape. [WWD]

To answer the question we posed earlier, “Could Kate Moss make gray hair chic?” Apparently, yes, she intentionally dyed the roots of her hair gray. Which is baffling, but good news for any woman who will ever go through the aging process. If she gets wrinkles to be cool, lots of celebrities can stop the Botox. We won’t hold our breath: see our guides to the best heavy moisturizers just in case it doesn’t happen. [Stylelist]

Take a shopping break: see the best sample sales still going on now, get a pair of really chic winter boots, and check out some almost-cheesy lingerie we kind of wouldn’t mind getting for Valentine’s Day.
