Good question: Bags for Laptops and Books

From a SheFinds reader: “I will be a starting law school in about two weeks and am horrified at the thought of sacrificing fashion for practicality and comfort. However, this seems to be inevitable the more I look for a trendy bag that will be able to hold all my books and/or laptop. Any suggestions?”

You can’t just go to class with your books in any old bag, you also have to look good doing it. And in law school no less, you can look like the savvy professional you are (or soon will be) with these roomy yet stylish bags for your books and laptop, too. A leather-look bike messenger tote is about the best combination of style and comfort that I can think of. Bulge Bags’ “DJ Bag” Messenger has a long strap that’s great for slinging across your chest while shlepping across campus. Melissa Beth’s tote has a removable sleeve for your laptop. It comes in black, pink, baby blue or lilac. The Marsus da vinci dv05-a backpack is modern and urban. Best of all, it has thick, padded shoulder straps, so your shoulders will feel as good as you look.
