Good Question: Penelope Cruz's Dress

Question: I’m hoping that someone can tell me what designer made this dress, or can offer some cute look-a-like options. I MUST find this dress, I’ve been looking for something like this for such a long time so hopefully someone can help. Thanks! And happy shopping!!

Answer: This style dress is fabulous for showing off shapely legs like Penelope’s. With a deep, square neckline that gives a full bust the highest compliments, a slightly bubbled mid-section that’s forgiving for tummies and thighs alike, and a babydoll bodice, this dress is extremely sexy, yet flattering. Plus, those pockets give it an extra touch of functionality.

One of our favorite look-alikes is this David Meister Empire Mini Dress ($360 @ Saks) that mimics the style almost perfectly. It may not have the same bright, mustard yellow color, but basic black tends to be more wearable in the long run. Wear it with a delicate clutch and tall heels for the best effect.
