What: GPS Handbag, $150

Why: You’ve got 10 minutes to get dressed, accessorize, find your bag, get out the door, and catch the train… but you can’t find your bag. If this sounds at all like your mornings, then Marilyn Light Bag has a solution: A handbag with a GPS tracking device that locates the bag, whether it’s been misplaced or stolen. The first two months are free, and then it costs $15 per month. The device can’t be turned off either, allowing the owner to find the bag— and the person— wherever they are. The bags come in 11 colors, and include “Gucci and other brand-name look-alikes,” to quote their site.

A trackable handbag seems like overkill to me, but if they could create a GPS enabled key chain…
