Gucci's Going Mini! Mark Your Calendars for the New Gucci Children's Clothing Collection

Moms with expendable income rejoice! Earlier today @fashion_tweets tweeted “Gucci Will Present Its First Ever Children’s Collection”  and that little nugget of fashion goodness was enough to set us googling. A few searches later we were able to confirm via shoppingblog.com that Gucci creative director Frida Gianni spilled the beans back in April that Gucci was in fact planning on launching a children’s collection. She said the line would start off in Italy in June (this month!), then it would be rolled out to 40 more store around the world afterwards.

Obviously, we’re dying to see how many different ways Gucci can slap those double Gs on little dresses and polos, but alas, there are no pictures of the collection…yet. It’s only a matter of weeks before the collection is available in Italy, so stay tuned for more information.

In the meantime, if you’re dying for your little one to wear Gucci now, Gucci does make mini kicks. Check out the full selection at Saks.com in the slideshow below.
